About Hobby Hall Ballroom Dance and Etiquette for Children
ACCOLADES

Bringing grace back to the art of raising a family—

Hobby Hall was born from the idea that common courtesy and kindness could be a catalyst for world peace. Although the incredible advance of technology in recent years has lessened the frequency of face-to-face relationships, their importance is undiminished in our increasingly global society. By reintroducing our children to traditional social etiquette, communications skills, and table manners, Mrs. Persson hopes to bring back the importance of being respectful to and considerate of others while living in our highly computerized and competitive world.

Good manners are no more than acts of kindness to our fellow human beings, and being polite simply means that we are considerate of others in whatever society we live. Because different cultures have different standards, it is also necessary to understand the rules of living in other countries in order to gain respect in our global community. As more companies are expanding their businesses around the world, so we too must expand our knowledge to include multicultural common courtesies.

If this sounds like a lot to learn, it is! We can, however, all benefit by learning good manners to be used at school, at home, at the office, and wherever we interact with other human beings. They form the basis of living with grace.
